I have translated three collections of Roberto Bolaño's poetry into English: The Romantic Dogs (New Directions, 2008), Tres (New Directions, 2011), and The Unknown University (New Directions, 2013). My translations of Bolaño and other Latin American poets have appeared in the New Yorker, Harper’s, Paris Review, the Believer, the Nation, and many other journals. The Unknown University was a finalist for the Best Translated Book Award. I also occasionally write personal essays and fiction.
